We are currently looking for high calibre Registered Mental Health Nurse candidates for a dedicated Mental Health Hospital, Mental Health Care Home and Mental Health Rehabilitation service in Manchester.
The Role:
As Registered Metal Health Nurse you will be caring for adults with varying mental health needs and ultimately helping them to improve their quality of life, become more independent and lead fulfilling lives. Whether you are experienced or newly qualified it is just as important that you share values of delivering the highest quality of care through your desire, passion and attitude. You’ll work very closely with the MDT where everyone is actively involved in decisions impacting the service user. You’ll be developing and maintaining person centred care plans and you will manage and direct a team of support workers working with you on your shift.
The role of Registered Mental Health Nurse will be varied and clinically challenging where one day is different to the next. You’ll build strong relationships with service users, families and the MDT. The service:
The service provides intervention for adults that need continuing care support and who have enduring mental health and complex needs. It is currently registered to provide care for people who may be informal or subject to certain conditions under the Mental Health Act 1983.
They provide proactive, high quality, nursing care and treatment using a person centred approach that responds to any changes in the individual’s needs.
All treatment and care is delivered through the Care Programme Approach/Care Review where each service user is fully involved in their individual care planning as part of their care pathway. All service users feel comfortable within the environment to optimise improvement and recovery by providing a homely atmosphere on each unit. The primary objective is to facilitate as normal as possible a life for service users, taking into account their illness, individual needs and wishes.
